Geronimo J. RuedasIn order to run the fraternity you so much believe in, you must be strong, yet humble and understand you have to lead this group into success while taking into consideration everyone’s needs and wants. You must believe in your vision of leadership and in the abilities of your brothers.
To be President of Phi Kappa Theta is an honor, privilege, and an opportunity like no other. In this position you become a man of great respect, and in that respect lays great responsibility. You are now the face and the focus of the fraternity. If you have any doubts in representing this Chapter of 40 years and fraternity of over 100 years, then please ask your brothers why they have selected you as their leader or brother. In their words you will find confidence and faith in you to be someone of tradition, family, and leadership.
I wish you the best of luck, my brothers and future brothers. I know you have been given the golden key to continue on the legacy in which we have all worked so hard to keep here at UTPA. In this time we must be the best all the time, and all the time be the best. That is what it is to be a PHI KAP!
We live in bonds of brotherhood. God bless!
